About The Happy Boat

At The Happy Boat we are known to be a Family run business since 1982 originally known as "The May Wah".

We pride ourselves to be different on serving our customers traditional and authentic dishes such as Dim Sum, a style of Chinese cuisine of bite sized portions. Our in-house roasts known for to be the only Chinese Take-Away in West Lothian to have a Traditional Peking Oven.

But what makes us really different? We make everything by hand and we mean everything...from our roast marinades, pancake dough, dumpling fillings and pastry, sauces, chilli oil, soup broths down to our noodles!
